Dr. Raja Bhaumik

Dr. Raja Bhaumik is an accomplished medical professional and historian based in Hyderabad, India. With over two decades of experience in Medicine, Nephrology, Diabetology, and Critical Care, he is widely respected for his expertise and compassionate care. His medical credentials include an MBBS from Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Secunderabad, along with specialization in Medicine and super-specialization in Nephrology from the National Board of Medical Education, New Delhi. He also holds fellowships in Diabetology and Non-Interventional Cardiology. Running clinics in Ameerpet, Madhapur, and Hafeezpet, Dr. Bhaumik continues to serve thousands of patients annually, while also nurturing a deep passion for historical research.

Beyond his medical career, Dr. Bhaumik is the author of the acclaimed two-volume book Journey to India’s Freedom from 1858–1948: An Untold Story, a comprehensive and rigorously researched account of India’s lesser-known revolutionary movements and political developments leading to independence.
