Harigovind TP

Harigovind T.P is a contemporary fiction author whose debut novel, Whispers Under Starlight, has placed him among India’s promising new literary voices. The novel was nominated for Best Contemporary Fiction at the Goa Author Awards 2025, earning national recognition for its evocative storytelling. His work has also crossed borders, being featured in the prestigious international anthology She Rises, India Shines, published in over 140 countries.

Born in Dubai and raised in Kerala, Harigovind’s early education shaped much of his discipline and worldview. He studied at Rajagiri International School, Dubai, before continuing at Rajagiri Higher Secondary School, Kalamassery, and later at Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad. These formative years fostered a balance of academic grounding and cultural richness, experiences that continue to inform his writing.

Alongside his literary pursuits, Harigovind is deeply engaged in personal and professional development. He serves as the Ernakulam District Coordinator for the National Crime Intelligence Agency (NCIA) and is a Founding Expert at SkillQnect, a platform dedicated to skill development and knowledge sharing. Currently, he is pursuing a BA in Psychology, HR & Business English at Jain University, Kochi, combining his academic interests with his passion for understanding people and narratives.

Beyond writing and academics, Harigovind is a Second-Degree Black Belt in Shobukai Shito-Ryu Karate, a former NCC Cadet with the Army Wing (21 KL Battalion), and a freelance voice-over artist. His diverse experiences—spanning literature, martial arts, leadership, and performance—reflect a life built on resilience, discipline, and creativity. Through his stories, Harigovind continues to explore the complexities of the human spirit while inspiring readers across generations.
