Ravi Ranjan Goswami

Ravi Ranjan Goswami is a respected bilingual author, celebrated for his impactful storytelling and thoughtful poetry, primarily in Hindi. Originally from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, he pursued his B.Sc at Bipin Bihari Degree College under Bundelkhand University and earned an M.Sc in Physics from Agra College, Agra University. A retired officer of the Indian Revenue Service, he served with distinction and retired as an Assistant Commissioner of Customs. Now residing in Cochin, Kerala, he devotes his time fully to writing and literary pursuits.

Throughout his writing career, Goswami has gained recognition for his meaningful narratives that explore Indian culture, human nature, and philosophical thought. His poetry is written primarily in Hindi, while his fiction spans both Hindi and English, including self-translations of his own work. His Hindi stories are particularly admired for their simplicity, emotional depth, and cultural authenticity. In 2019, he was nominated "Author of the Year" on StoryMirror, and his English novella The Asht Yogis won him the Criticspace Literary Award in 2021, highlighting his ability to connect with diverse audiences across languages.
