Readers' Favourite Plan

Please read this Cancellation and Refund Policy carefully before purchasing the Readers' Favourite Plan on Classic Pages. By purchasing this plan, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

1. Scope & Plan Applicability

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies specifically to the Readers' Favourite Plan offered on Classic Pages (developed and maintained by DailyHawker®).

The Readers' Favourite Plan is a subscription service providing:

  • A physical book of your choice delivered monthly.
  • Total purchasing power of ₹10,999.
  • A monthly cap of ₹500 per order.
  • Rollover benefit: Unused credits do not expire and roll over continuously.

2. Subscription Cancellation

Subscribers may cancel their Readers' Favourite Plan subscription under the following conditions:

  • Pre-fulfillment Cancellation: You may cancel the plan and request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided that no book requests have been made, processed, or dispatched, and no other digital benefits or community badges have been utilized.
  • Post-fulfillment / Active Subscriptions: Once a book request has been placed, processed, or shipped, the subscription is considered active. Active subscriptions cannot be cancelled for a refund of the initial purchase price.

3. Refund Policy & Processing

For eligible cancellations (as detailed in Section 2):

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment source used during the transaction.
  • Refund processing typically takes 5 to 7 business days from the date the cancellation request is approved.
  • Please note that GST (18%) charged on the transaction is handled according to prevailing Indian tax laws and may not be fully refundable depending on the timing of the cancellation.

4. Unused Credits Policy

Because the Readers' Favourite Plan features a no-credit-expiry policy, unused monthly book credits automatically roll over to subsequent months.

Consequently, the temporary non-usage of your monthly credit does not qualify as grounds for cancellation or a refund. Your accumulated purchasing power remains fully usable for the duration of the plan.

5. Replacement Policy for Damaged Deliveries

We take extreme care to ensure books are delivered in brand new, pristine condition. However, in the rare event of transit damage or shipping errors:

  • You must report any damage or incorrect book delivery within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Please contact our support team via WhatsApp with clear photographs/videos of the damaged packaging and item.
  • Once verified, we will arrange for a free replacement book to be shipped to you at no additional cost.

7. Policy Modifications
